I am in love with my homemade fabric softener. So easy to make, smells amazing, works like a charm, and saves the environment, our skin, and tons of money! One by one I am working my way through my cleaning supplies to make them green, non toxic, and made at home. Turns out it is not as complicated as you would think.
Homemade laundry detergent is super easy to make. There is an active debate on whether or not borax is safe to use in cleaning products. This recipe does not contain borax, and you can mix and match the scents in your batches by changing the type of castile soap you use. Easy peasy, non toxic, better for you and your family and much less expensive than buying commercial brands comprised wholly of chemicals. You can get all of these ingredients at your local health food store, or order them online, they are readily available. Give this a try, and know you are doing a healthy thing for your family. Try it!!
